The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Korea participated in the Seoul Salam Festival 2026, organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in cooperation with the Seoul Tourism Organization, with the aim of promoting cultural and tourism exchange between Korea, the Arab countries, and Asian countries. The festival provided an opportunity to showcase the rich cultural and civilizational diversity of the region, while fostering communication and interaction among different cultures.

H.E. Mr. Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea, received Ms. Kim Sun-il, Director of Yongsan Public Library, at the Embassy. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the cultural and educational fields, contributing to the promotion of cultural and knowledge exchange.

Ambassador Attends Presidential Dinner H.E. Mr. Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea, attended a dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea, in honor of heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations accredited to the Republic of Korea. The dinner was held at Cheong Wa Dae, the presidential residence in Seoul. The event was attended by ambassadors and representatives from 112 countries and 18 international organizations, providing an opportunity to strengthen diplomatic engagement and exchange views on issues of mutual interest.

H.E Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea, participated in the "WORLD IT SHOW 2026" exhibition held in the Korean capital, Seoul, where he reviewed the latest innovations and technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and communications.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Korea participated in the events of the Seoul Friendship Festival 2026, which is one of the most prominent international cultural events in the Korean capital, with extensive participation from diplomatic missions in the Republic of Korea. The Qatari pavilion witnessed a large turnout from visitors who learned about aspects of Qatari heritage and culture, including traditional hospitality, experiencing Qatari attire, and tasting Arabic coffee. This participation comes within the framework of the Embassy of the State of Qatar's keenness to enhance cultural exchange with the Korean people and to introduce Qatari culture in the Republic of Korea.
