The Embassy participated in the 4th Korea-EU International Conference on Middle East and North Africa held in Seoul on May the 3th and the 4th 2018.
A number of officials from Korea and the European Union participated in the conference organized by the South Korean Foreign Ministry in cooperation with the EU. The conference was also attended by a number of academics and researchers specializing in the Middle East as well as a group of media representatives.
The conference discussed four main axes, namely conflicts and coalitions in the Middle East, Post –ISIS in Iraq and Syria, the future of the Maghreb: Libya, Tunisia and Algeria, and the prospects of the Iran nuclear deal.
