The Embassy celebrates the National Day 2024

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Korea held a reception on Monday, December 16, 2024, on the occasion of the National Day. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr. Kang Do-hyung, Minister of Oceans and Fisheries, as representative of the Korean government, in addition to His Excellency Mr. Park Sung-taek, first vice Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, and His Excellency Mr. Park Jin, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and some members of the Parliament. The ceremony was also attended by heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions, heads of international organizations and agencies operating in Korea, a group of businessmen and representatives of Korean companies. A group of journalists and media professionals also participated in the ceremony, along with an elite group of public figures in various fields and, with the number of participants exceeding 500 people.


Qatari Embassy in Seoul Organizes Qatar-Korea Trade and Investment Forum

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Korea organized the "Qatar-Korea Trade and Investment Forum" as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. The event was organized in cooperation with the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), and with the participation of the Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (Invest Qatar); the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ); and the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).



The Embassy Organizes a Drawing Competition for Korean School Students

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Korea, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Seoul, in cooperation with the Multicultural Museum, organized a drawing competition for Korean schools on the modern renaissance of Qatar and its rich culture.


Qatari delegation participates in the meeting of GCC youth with Korean youth.

The Qatari delegation participated in the meeting of GCC youth with South Korean youth from September 22 to October 1, 2024. The Gulf youth delegation visited Korea University, and a joint Gulf exhibition was held in which the State of Qatar participated in five sections: Qatari identity, Qatar Vision 2030, tourism, innovations, and hospitality. The exhibition was met with great interest from Korean students

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Seoul, in partnership with the Korean Association for Middle Eastern Studies and Hankuk University for Foreign Studies, organized "Qatar Week” event as part of the embassy's celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Korea.
