His Excellency Khalid bin Ebrahim Al Hamar, Qatar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, participated in the ceremony held by the Department of Arabic Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies on the occasion of the fifty-seventh anniversary of the department's establishment. His Excellency delivered a speech in which he praised the role of the Arab department in strengthening ties between the Republic of Korea and the Arab peoples.

The State of Qatar also contributed by providing gifts to the participants in the competition that was held for Korean students in the field of research preparation and speech contest in Arabic.
