The embassy participated in the Seoul Friendship Festival 2018 which took place during 1st and 2nd September 2018.

The festival was organized by the government of Seoul Metropolitan City at Seoul Plaza, in front of the City Hall.

The state of Qatar, along with dozens of foreign missions in Korea participated in the festival and presented programs that included performances of folklore groups, food festival, and other events.

The section dedicated to the state of Qatar exhibited several items representing the patrimony of Qatar, such as musical instruments, traditional costume, as well as leaflets and audio-visual materials that promote the Qatari culture.

Meanwhile, Qatari section at the food festival presented some traditional dishes.
