A delegation from the State of Qatar participated in the Global Green Growth Week organized by the Global Green Growth Institute, in Seoul during the period 21-25 October.

The Qatari delegation was led by HE Dr. Khalid Al-Khater, Director of department of Policy and Planning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and delivered an opening speech at the Global Policy Dialogue on Climate Governance. He reviewed Qatar's efforts to combat climate change and its global contributions to help countries affected by the phenomenon.

Ban Ki-moon, President of the Global Institute for Green Growth and former Secretary-General of the United Nations, and officials from Japan and the Republic of Korea also participated in this session.
