On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Korea, Export Development and Promotion Agency (Tasdeer), in cooperation with the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Seoul, the ،Korea Importers Association, organized the “Qatar- South Korea Trade Mission 2024".

His Excellency Ambassador Khalid bin Ebrahim Al Hamar participated in the Newsis Industrial Forum 2024. His Excellency delivered an opening speech in which he touched on the strategic relations between the two countries and the promising cooperation opportunities between Korean companies and their counterparts in the State of Qatar, which is witnessing rapid economic growth in recent years.

HE Trade minister of the Republic of Korea Cheong Inkyo met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar.

On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Seoul organized the “Qatar Sports Day” event, with the participation of H.E Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea, Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the embassy diplomats and staff members.

H.E. Ambassador Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar participated in the signing ceremony of the free trade agreement between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Republic of Korea.

Her Excellency Maryam bint Ali Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family, participated in the 5th International Conference on Action with Women and Peace, which was hosted by the Korean capital, Seoul, and which touched on the field of social development and women’s protection.

His Excellency Ambassador Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar paid a visit to the headquarters of Hyundai Engineering & Construction Company, where he met with senior executives.

His Excellency Dr. Saad bin Ahmed Al-Muhannadi, President of Ashghal, the Public Works Authority of Qatar, participated in the Global Infrastructure Cooperation Conference 2023, which was hosted in the Korean capital, Seoul. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. High-level delegations from 24 countries participated in the said conference.

His Excellency Ambassador Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar visited the headquarters of Hyundai Development Company, where he met with Mr. Chung Mong Gyu, Chairman of the company, and discussed with him ways to enhance relations between the two sides.
