H.E Ambassador Khalid bin Ebrahim Al-Hamar attended the Korea-Middle East Economic Forum, which was hosted by the National Assembly (Korean Parliament) under the slogan: Will the Middle East, the land of opportunities, lead to a new boom for the Korean economy?, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the founding of UPI News Agency.

His Excellency Ambassador Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Hamar met with a group of students from Hankook University for foreign studies. During the meeting, His Excellency answered students' inquiries about the State of Qatar and the development achieved by the state at various levels, especially in the field of education.

The Republic of Korea hosted the Sixth High-Level Strategic Cooperation Committee between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Korea. H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani Minister of Commerce and Industry, and H.E Lee Chang-yang, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, chaired the committee in Seoul.

The Qatari-Korean Business Forum was held on June 14, 2023, in the Korean capital, Seoul, with the participation of a number of Qatari and Korean agencies and institutions, as well as a number of businessmen from both countries.

The embassy of the State of Qatar has organized a number of sports events on Tuesday February 14th in Seoul within the framework of “Qatar’s National Sports Day” in which H.E Khalid bin Ebrahim Al Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to ROK together with the embassy diplomats and staff members participated.

His Excellency Ambassador Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Hamar received the winners of the art competition organized by the embassy in cooperation with the Multicultural Museum on the World Cup and Qatari culture, in which students from primary and middle schools across Korean participated.
