The embassy of the State of Qatar has organized a number of sports events on Tuesday February 14th in Seoul within the framework of “Qatar’s National Sports Day” in which H.E Khalid bin Ebrahim Al Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to ROK together with the embassy diplomats and staff members participated.

His Excellency Ambassador Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Hamar received the winners of the art competition organized by the embassy in cooperation with the Multicultural Museum on the World Cup and Qatari culture, in which students from primary and middle schools across Korean participated.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar has organized a reception party on the occasion of Qatar’s National Day.

The embassy of the State of Qatar participated in Seoul Friendship Festival organized by the Seoul Municipality with the participation of 46 countries. The embassy's participation focused on promoting the World Cup Qatar 2022, in addition to introducing Qatari culture and traditions by serving coffee, tasting Qatari food and trying Qatari traditional clothes.

The embassy of the State of Qatar to Seoul set up a pavilion to promote the 2022 World Cup Qatar as part of the "Itaewon Global Village Festival". The festival is considered one of the largest events hosted by the city of Seoul, as it is visited by one million people over two days.

In the context of promoting the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the embassy, in cooperation with the Organization of Francophonie, organized a football tournament in which diplomats from the embassies of the member states of the Francophone Organization participated.

His Excellency Khalid bin Ebrahim Al Hamar, Qatar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, participated in the ceremony held by the Department of Arabic Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Seoul inaugurated the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 pavilion, under the auspices of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Korea-Arab Society and the Korea International Trade Association, as part of the fifteenth edition of the Arab Culture Festival

His Excellency Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Hamer, Qatar Ambassador to Seoul, participated in the luncheon organized by His Excellency Won Hee Ryong, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
