The Qatari-Korean Business Forum was held on June 14, 2023, in the Korean capital, Seoul, with the participation of a number of Qatari and Korean agencies and institutions, as well as a number of businessmen from both countries.

His Excellency Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea, met with His Excellency Mr. Kim Dong Wan, President of the prestigious Korea University. During the meeting, ways to enhance relations between the two sides were discussed.

The embassy of the State of Qatar has organized a number of sports events on Tuesday February 14th in Seoul within the framework of “Qatar’s National Sports Day” in which H.E Khalid bin Ebrahim Al Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to ROK together with the embassy diplomats and staff members participated.

His Excellency Ambassador Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Hamar received the winners of the art competition organized by the embassy in cooperation with the Multicultural Museum on the World Cup and Qatari culture, in which students from primary and middle schools across Korean participated.

The embassy of the State of Qatar participated in Seoul Friendship Festival organized by the Seoul Municipality with the participation of 46 countries. The embassy's participation focused on promoting the World Cup Qatar 2022, in addition to introducing Qatari culture and traditions by serving coffee, tasting Qatari food and trying Qatari traditional clothes.

The embassy of the State of Qatar to Seoul set up a pavilion to promote the 2022 World Cup Qatar as part of the "Itaewon Global Village Festival". The festival is considered one of the largest events hosted by the city of Seoul, as it is visited by one million people over two days.
