HE President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in received the credentials of HE Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Haiki as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea.

The Embassy participated in the second week of Public Diplomacy hosted in Seoul from 24-26 October 2019.

His Highness The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani took part in the opening session of the General Debate of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which kicked off at the UN headquarters in New York on Tuesday in the presence of Their Highnesses and Excellencies leaders of states and heads of governments and delegations of governmental, regional and international organizations and civil society institutions.

The embassy participated in the Seoul Friendship Festival 2019 which took place during 31st August and 1st September 2019.

The diplomatic corps in South Korea held a farewell party to H.E Mohamed Abdulla Al Dehaimi, in the presence of H.E the Korean Foreign Minister, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, the heads of diplomatic missions and a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The State of Qatar has participated in Medical Korea Exhibition 2019 organized by The Korean Health Industry Development Institute, under the auspice of The Korean Ministry of Health, during March14-16th 2019.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani has stressed that the State of Qatar is open for dialogue to resolve the Gulf crisis, adding that it has been calling on the blockade countries to sit at the negotiating table to discuss the causes of the crisis and work to resolve it.
