His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met, on Monday 9 April 2018 with H.E. the U.S Defense Secretary, James Mattis and discussed with him means to develop the strategic Qatari-US ties in areas of defense, military and security as well as fighting terrorism. H.H. the Emir and H.E. the secretary exchanged views on ways to strengthen cooperation in countering terrorism.
